
Janelle L. Menges
Ms. Menges’ practice focuses on employment, real estate, and general business litigation matters. She has represented both employees and employers in advisory matters and litigation, including single-plaintiff and PAGA cases, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, claims brought pursuant to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and non-compete/non-solicitation issues. Ms. Menges has represented clients in numerous real estate and property matters, including property damage, wire fraud, concealment and non-disclosure issues, partition actions, and neighbor disputes. She has also represented clients in business matters such as breach of contract, defamation, fraud, tortious interference claims, theft of trade secrets, and unfair competition. Ms. Menges has experience handling cases before state and federal courts, arbitration panels, and administrative agencies. She has obtained many favorable results for her clients, both at trial and through settlement negotiations.
Ms. Menges has published articles in the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Update, and has edited and updated portions of Matthew Bender’s California Real Estate Law and Practice.
Ms. Menges is a Los Angeles native and enjoys travel planning, camping and hiking with her family, costume parties, and relaxing with a good book at home.
Education
Ms. Menges received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and European Studies from UCLA in 2009, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from UCLA School of Law in 2013.
